Deadline extension for final accounting of restart assistance by auditing third parties.
The deadline for final accounts for the various restart assistance programs was to end on December 31, 2022. BMWK announced that the deadline for submitting final accounts for new startup assistance for auditing third parties will be extended to March 31, 2023. Reminder emails will be sent again in January 2023 and March 2023 to cases where final statements have not been received to date.
Corona Emergency Assistance – Reminder mails
Since November 28, 2022, the Government of Upper Bavaria has been sending reminder letters to recipients of emergency aid. These are obliged to check the Corona emergency aid received to see whether the predicted liquidity bottleneck has actually occurred. Read more:

New occupational safety standards
The German government has adopted new occupational safety standards. These are intended to ensure more safety and health at work.
The new requirements include
- Safety distance of 1.5 m between individual workplaces
- Door handles: regular cleaning and consideration in cleaning schedules
- Access by external persons: contact details and times must be recorded
- Infection contingency plan: Establish procedure for clarifying suspected cases
The responsibility for implementation lies with the employer.
